So we have all been on an amazing journey which on occasions has been difficult with delays and unforeseen problems but bridges have been built, friendships made, constructive activities to engage the youth in social interaction successful, and confidences raised to the extent that several unemployed people gained employment and also we convinced funders to support us and share our vision to provide a safe and much needed facility with the community at its heart.

The Shirley Warren Community Garden Project hope peoples’ lives will be enriched and made happier by spending time in what is now a beautiful garden with potential and opportunity that was described Outer Shirley Regeneration as a ‘flagship project’ for providing community green spaces.
